New Hope Empowerment Center Youth Ministry (P.I.E)

Pioneers in Effect (P.I.E) is our NHEC Youth Ministry.  Here, we create a save haven of love and training for our future leaders of tomorrow by providing the essentials of God’s word today.  There are many accounts throughout the Bible of children doing exploits in God.  God instructs us to train up our children in the way they should go and when he is old he will not depart from it-Proverbs 22:6.  He also reminds us to bid little children to come unto him for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these- Mark 10:14.

In addition to Gods’ instructions, we can see demonstrations of preparations of the youth in the Bible.  At the tender age of 12, Jesus sat in the synagogue with the scribes and teachers (Luke 2:41-52).  When Timothy was a child, his mother Eunice and grandmother Lois trained him in the word of God ( 2 Timothy 1:5).  After Samuel was weaned, Hannah sent him to The Lord’s house to be trained by Eli the Priest (1 Samuel 1:24-26).  Apostle Paul mentored Timothy and reminded him to not anyone despise him because of his youth (1 Timothy 4:12).

Psalm 127:3-5

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.  Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.  They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

To sum it all up, our children are God’s precious commodities.  They are deserving of The

Kingdom of Heaven and all of its infinite treasures.  It is imperative that we equip our children

with Godly wisdom knowledge, skill development, character, awareness, and much more.  Not

only are they to be made known what they are entitled to, they should also be informed about

the devices of Satan ( the thief; destroyer; murderer).

Youth: we are ECSTATIC not only about your future but your right now.  Join us on Sunday

mornings at NHEC and many more of our anointed, fun worship services and/or events.  You
